Come and join our AA Battery Service team! We have great ambitions for AA Battery Service and need a strong Commercial Manager with the right energy, drive and passion to take this to the next level.

As an experienced Commercial Manager, you will have your finger on the pulse for all aspects of sales, pricing, contract management, marketing and distribution.

Your primary role will be to ensure that the business is delivering growth, operational efficiency and that key stakeholders are effectively managed. You will be responsible for the economic service delivery and growth of the wholesale channel of AA Battery Service product and services.

You will be working within our national AA Battery van network, supplying wholesale battery services across Auckland.

Here are some key objectives to give you an idea:

  • Leverage strategies with stakeholders to promote growth and earnings from both new and existing customers
  • Look for new growth opportunities with new products and services
  • Grow the existing team and lead the growth of the business across New Zealand.

To be successful in this role you will have the following functional & technical competencies:

  • Minimum 7 years relevant industry experience within a complex commercial or contract management business with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in operational performance, process compliance and risk
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation and financial analysis skills
  • Automotive trades and services industry experience is desirable
