Motoring Services Technical Advisor


Our goal in AA Motoring is that Members and customers will come to the AA as their first choice for all their vehicle service needs and advice.

The successful candidate will become a key part of NZAA Motoring Services Advisors who share their motoring knowledge and experience in supporting our network of automotive businesses involved in Entry Compliance, Warrant of Fitness, Certificate of Fitness and Auto Service and Repair.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to providing both technical advice and motoring advice over the phone, online or face to face to our large network, as well as system support with both online and internal based computer systems.

Ideally you will have an automotive background with a technical qualification of Trade Certificate Automotive or more and will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to AA Staff members at site level.

In addition you will assist in compiling specific technical information and bulletins to support the business. An understanding of the NZTA Virm would be beneficial but not essential.

Critical to your success will be your ability to manage your time effectively, have strong computer skills and be able to demonstrate a variety of communication skills to different audiences and their needs.

As well as living and breathing cars, combine this with your strong relationship building skills and this could be your next job!
