Job Summary

The Role

Across AECOM we are embarking upon a bold and exciting journey to transform the way we position HR to the business with a focus on reinventing and repositioning Human Resources to enable our people to achieve their full potential. This role provides leadership and expertise for the New Zealand Human Resource (HR) function while also being a key contributing member of the Australia New Zealand HR Leadership team and the wider APAC HR team.

While every day brings something new, some of the key responsibilities for this leadership role will include;

  • Coaching business leaders on issues of effective team building and organisational effectiveness.
  • Working with the business to ensure smooth delivery of operations.
  • Ensuring appropriate implementation and execution of local and enterprise wide HR programs and initiatives.
  • A proactive approach to driving the ANZ and NZ Inclusion + Diversity strategy
  • Managing employee relations issues with an eye towards ensuring AECOM remains an employer of choice.
  • Partnering with HR Centres of Excellence to drive forward the people strategy.
  • Leading and facilitating change efforts, including cultural change, HR procedural change and enterprise organisational change as needed.
  • Acting as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.

Minimum Requirements

Experience working within a large global or professional services organisation will be favorable along with proven HRM experience at a senior leadership level. Chartered membership with HRINZ is preferable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
