Senior Project Controls Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our team and be responsible for the uptake of professional planning and controls on a variety of major infrastructure work programmes.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting the Project Controls function on new and existing projects, maintaining program and project master schedules, developing construction programmes and methodologies and providing detailed analysis reporting.

You will assist in the continued development of AECOM's Project Controls function and keep up to date with industry best practice to ensure AECOM practice maintains world class status.

Minimum Requirements

We are seeking an experienced, Senior Project Controls Specialist who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the construction or civil infrastructure industry, with a mixture of site and office construction management and programming/planning

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6

  • Experience in monthly reporting

  • Experience in Earned Value Management

  • Previous experience in managing integrated schedules

  • Working knowledge of NZS3910 & NEC3

  • Tenacity and drive to inject best practice and create solutions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive approach to work load planning with the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering (or similar)
