Commercial Manager, UDC

  • Proven sales professional looking for your next step
  • Work with industry experts to grow business opportunities
  • Utilise your business acumen and exceptional networking skills

UDC is seeking a Commercial Manager to manage and grow our Asset Finance business in the Auckland region. While experience in lending and credit, and a background in banking or finance would be advantageous, also having a background in road, construction or aviation, plus a general interest in ‘things mechanical’, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss the role with you.

About the role

Our Commercial Managers are responsible for developing, maintaining and growing a customer portfolio with sustainable long-term client relationships which meet UDC's objectives for revenue and credit quality. The incumbent will operate within a defined territory and is also responsible for identifying new business opportunities from both new and existing customers.

At UDC you will be provided with the training to give you the knowledge of core UDC products. Success will then be achieved through growing a portfolio of clients who regularly replace large fleet items generally in UDC’s core industries of Transport, Contracting and Manufacturing.

We are looking for a proven performer with a track record in growing a customer base. Ideally your Business development experience will include SME business owners in industries attractive to UDC. You will have the proven ability to develop a network, execute and provide a good experience for the customer. Passionate about managing relationships and delivering results, you'll also possess a level of flexibility and resilience that will see you adapt to an environment where deals must also be assessed from an internal risk perspective.

If you're looking to broaden your career and possess the following, please apply now!
