About The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Implement the Compliance Integrated Assurance programme, ensuring all compliance obligations relating to the business are delivered and embedded into business process
  • Provide expertise and oversight to ensure appropriate Compliance considerations are built into business projects
  • Provide assurance to business area management on the adequacy and effectiveness of the compliance framework, including comfort over monitoring and testing activities
  • Identify and develop recommendations and solutions to current and potential Compliance threats to the business and ANZ
  • Embrace, drive and support change. Ensure sharing of ‘best practice’ ideas and identify potential process/service enhancements
  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure the appropriate identification and resolution of all regulatory compliance incidents and breaches across our R&BB unit

Role Location: Auckland or Wellington

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

 
About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Tertiary qualified with at least 5 years’ experience in Compliance Risk Management and Framework application 
  • Sound understanding of complex regulatory requirements and changes with a proven ability to translate and deliver towards these requirements
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge on compliance matters, constantly keep abreast of the latest industry developments
  • Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner
  • Ability to use initiative. Be proactive by taking action and be persistent and resilient in addressing issues
  • Prior financial or banking industry experience would be highly advantageous
