Content Editor

About the role:
As Content Editor, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Lead passionate people to identify and execute story opportunities across the business through various internal and external media channels
  • Research, commission, produce and manage content creation and campaigns against specified timeframes and budgets
  • Mentor the Content team, contributing ideas, solutions and approaches, and ensure staff receive content that broadens their knowledge of ANZ  
  • Work collaboratively with the Corporate Affairs team and Group Communications network to improve knowledge of the external and internal business environment and to share expertise and experience
  • Manage a portfolio, working as Communications Manager for our Commercial & Agri business
  • Advocate team work and collaboration at all levels
  • Demonstrate customer centricity and the ANZ values

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following:

  • Leadership experience, in a role of Executive Producer or similar where you have lead a team to deliver multiple stories consistently to deadlines
  • Proven experience in broadcast journalism, preferably long form current affairs or similar, and a good understanding of the pre-production, production and post-production cycle  
  • Strong writing, storytelling and video production skills
  • Digitally savvy with basic production and content management tools and software
  • Good understanding of social and traditional media with ideas on how to maximise partnerships and opportunities in both
  • Good knowledge and understanding of social, political and media landscape
  • Experience in corporate communications, preferably in external media relations is advantageous
  • Proven delivery of successful internal and external stakeholder management, across a spectrum of seniority, in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work comfortably with senior leaders and build credibility through excellence and strong business acumen
  • Curious, tenacious, innovative, eager to learn new skills and with a growth mindset
