Lead Data Analyst

About The Role
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Drive an agile mind-set and collaborative approach across our analysts and engineering teams.
  • Define and embed agile analysis practices across the Data Tech Area
  • Work closely with Stakeholders, Analysts, Developers, Testers & Architects
  • Provide technical leadership to teams of Analysts within the Data Tech Area
  • Collaborate with other Tech Area, Analytics & Insights teams to build an end-to-end network for successfully delivering Data initiatives
  • Coach the Data Analysts and wider Analyst community, ensuring the team has the right level of capability to deliver, and helping to drive the successful delivery of technology solutions
  • Actively identify and participate in opportunities to improve the overall quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team
  • Be the lead on high-value initiatives, providing time/cost estimates, analysis planning and coordination of all business and technology analysis

Role Location: Wellington or Auckland
Role Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Business hours with flexibility available
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive experience in design and development within technical leadership roles
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills
  • Have sound experience in complex, multi-system product development
  • Leadership in complex technical situations and problem determination
  • Excellent facilitation and workshop skills
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to operate at all levels
  • An ability to set clear achievable goals, priorities and meet deadlines
