Lead Developer - Salesforce


  • Craft new, customer centric enterprise scale Salesforce applications that will help transform ANZ Omni-Assisted Channel and enhance the customer’s digital experience with the bank
  • Work and lead cross functional teams to build customer centric, scalable enterprise solutions
  • Build and enhance our internal Salesforce development capability.

About The Role

As a Lead Developer you will join an innovative, diverse and collaborative team that are focused and committed to enhancing and simplifying the functionality of the banking system to meet business and customer needs.

  • Provide leadership and coaching on improvements to best technology practices
  • Peer review code to support all development phases as well as being hands on as part of the team
  • Support continuous delivery on the automated pipeline
  • Track and manage demands at project level to ensure agreed delivery dates are adhered to by working with the Platform Leads
  • Dramatically increase the speed and frequency of feature delivery
  • Proactively identify technical, architectural, process risks and issues throughout the development process
  • Build Communities of Patrice to support improvements across the tribes

About You

  • We are looking for a seasoned Lead Developer who is able to architect, design and develop solutions that meet the business need with consideration to ongoing support and scalability;
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical specifications via presentations and formal documentation; 
  • Able to manage teams and juggle multiple projects and clients; 
  • Able to coach, develop and mentor other team members, contributing to the development overall practice capability;
  • You will be a communicator. You will be spending your day working alongside other developers, testers, BA’s, designers and product owners and you need to be able to communicate complex technical issues and be good at asking hard questions, at the right time.
  • You’ll be working in small teams where collaboration and relationship building is key.  We are interested in people who enjoy a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, who don’t get attached to a particular technology or practice and importantly who want to drive change in the organisation.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring most, if not all of the following:

  • CRM Domain expert with advanced experience implementing enterprise CRM solutions; 
  • Strong logical and analytical thinker, and able to think of innovative ideas on the fly; 
  • Salesforce certifications up to Platform App Builder and Platform Developer I required;
  • Experience with APEX, integration patterns and Lightning Web Components;
  • A background with CI/CD and DevOps around Salesforce platform;
  • Experience in a professional services organisation is preferred but not essential.
