Manager, Complex Lending

About The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Originate new business opportunities across Corporate New Zealand
  • Work with Commercial & Agri relationship managers and product partners to secure new & high-value business
  • Consider, critically analyse and articulate to internal stakeholders, complex credit scenarios
  • Lead corporate relationships across the C&A business
  • Engage Regional Managers, General Managers and Credit Managers to ensure all possible corporate opportunities  are considered and escalated in accepted format
  • Understand existing customer relationship strategies and support them through bank products/services

Role Type: Permanent 

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Minimum of 7 years post university work experience in related area (e.g. Banking, CA)
  • Financial modelling and excel skills to intermediate level
  • Excellent Credit Analysis and Debt Structuring experience in NZ and International Bank environments
  • Tertiary qualifications to degree level. CA or CFA – preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Structured Trade experience – preferred but not mandatory
