Personal Banker

About the Role 
In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Complete an exceptional training program which sets you up for opportunities throughout the wider bank
  • Provide amazing customer service, and contribute to significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy
  • Receive inbound calls and referrals from customers all over Australia
  • Meet customer needs, through the provision of ANZ’s full range of insurance, transactional and investments products, along with some lending services
  • Participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives
  • Demonstrate living the ANZ Values with customers and colleagues

Role Location: Wellington
Role Type: Permanent, Full time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday with a start window between 11am and 2pm (monthly rotation)

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Exceptional customer focus
  • The ability to initiate quality conversations and questions with new and existing customers
  • A positive attitude and an energetic approach to your work
  • A clear, well-spoken phone manner and a desire to learn in a dynamic environment
  • With your naturally empathetic and resilient nature you’ll be able to stay positive even when the pressure may be on
  • Experience in a call centre environment, preferably within the Banking or Finance industry
