Product Analyst, UDC

About The Role

  • In this role, you would have the opportunity to:
  • Create relationships within the business to source data for creating insights
  • Support the performance, growth and profitability of UDC lending products
  • Seek opportunities to grow revenues, reduce costs and improve UDC’s position in the market
  • Ensure UDC’s products remain efficient, competitive, compliant and profitable by appropriately supporting it with promotional and support tools that accurately reflect the products’ benefits and features
  • Ensure internal and external communications are comply with legislations and policies (i.e. website/intranet page; prospectus/investment statement/application form)
  • Run regular reporting as required to support product management activities
  • Development and analysis of product and pricing reporting to support product development activities (manipulate and sense check data, to produce insights and analysis)
  • Support the development of weekly pricing recommendations in conjunction with the appropriate product manager following agreed pricing strategy and proactively monitor and analyze the competitor’s rate changes
  • Provide specialist knowledge and training of products across the business
  • Maintain product management process documentation in line with UDC standards
  • Own annual product review process to ensure that all products are maintained as per current policy

Role Location – Albert Street, Auckland Central
Role Type – Permanent, full-time opportunity
 
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Experience in product management or equivalent is advantageous
  • Product knowledge in lending
  • Excellent technical writing abilities in order to create a persuasive, factual and focused story by combining data, visuals and narrative to effectively communicate insights
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Workload management while under time constraint while balancing conflicting demands from various parties
  • Ability to lead and promote change and be a strong team player
  • Strong numerical, analytical and written communication skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
