Product Manager, Home Loans

About The Role

In this role, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve the Home Loan customer experience, working closely with reengineering, marketing and channel development teams
  • Manage product portfolio operations, pricing, fee and policy escalations, rate changes, customer complaints, process implementation, and frontline communications
  • Contribute and work collaboratively with the wider Products team
  • Analyse and understand customer needs, competitor offerings and market dynamics
  • Lead and influence key stakeholders around the bank to progress Home Loan initiatives and achieve targets
  • Provide analysis and insight into the Home Loan portfolio (~$80b in lending from over 500k customers)
  • Proactively provide insight and recommendations into how Home Loan processes can be improved

 

Role Location: Auckland or Wellington

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

 

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven track record of delivering initiatives into the business or be able to demonstrate previous significant value-add to a large organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating to senior management
  • Previous product management and project delivery experience would be  advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience of lending products (ideally Home Loans and from a frontline or back office operations role)
  • You love to solve problems and identify opportunities for improving processes and policies
  • Driven and motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
