Product Relationship Manager, Insurance


  • Experience in an Insurance Product Manufacturing environment is essential
  • Manage key relationships with ANZ’s third party insurers and make a considerable contribution to the business and for our customers as our partnership with Cigna develops

About the role:
As Product Relationship Manager, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Work closely with third party insurers to monitor the operating performance of the portfolio(s) and to formulate and implement annual business plans and the customer segmentation strategy
  • Collaborate with third party insurers to implement agreed product and pricing initiatives and marketing and promotion activity to grow and retain insurance customers
  • Partner with third party insurers to ensure products meet customer needs and to develop and improve customer experience and digital initiatives, facilitating training into the front-line as required
  • Be a key expert on insurance for ANZ, ensuring that Bank staff have sufficient information to support our customers and that Management and business units are aware of any potential issues that could influence their areas
  • Ensure all activities managed are compliant with global policies, risk management frameworks, procedures and standards
  • Demonstrate customer centricity and living the ANZ values
     

Location: Auckland
Role Type: 12-15 month Fixed Term opportunity
Role hours: Standard with flexibility available
 
 
About you:
To be successful in this role you will bring the following: 

  • Demonstrated experience in product distribution and engaging frontline teams
  • Proven experience in managing third party commercial relationships
  • Experience within the Insurance industry preferably the manufacturing side, and knowledge of Life insurance products is highly advantageous
  • Proven delivery of successful stakeholder management and the ability to engage and consult widely
  • Strong problem solving skills, with a proven focus on continuous improvement, influencing outcomes and driving change
  • Solid understanding of customer needs, and developing and enhancing product propositions to meet those needs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate clear messages
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or related is advantageous but not essential
