Relationship Manager


  • Opportunity to join the Pacific or Auckland Lending Services team as a Relationship Manager
  • Customer facing, working with our higher risk commercial customers to find and deliver commercial solutions when it’s not ‘business as usual’
  • Option to manage either a portfolio of NZ customers or manage from NZ a portfolio of commercial customers who are domiciled in any of our ANZ branches throughout the Pacific  

 
About The Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Use problem solving and analysis to identify and understand the issues facing a customer
  • Formulate customer centric strategies to achieve effective outcomes
  • Build and manage working relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Have open and honest conversations with customers and intermediaries to work through and resolve challenges
  • Work with an experienced and highly collaborative team
  • Develop or enhance wider soft and technical skills to progress personal and career development

Role Location:  Auckland based with some travel required 
Role Type: Permanent
 
About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you would ideally bring some of the following:

 

  • Ability to assess and interpret financial statements to identify issues and trends
  • Negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop sound relationships in diverse situations
  • Relevant credit, recovery or commercial experience in the Banking industry
  • Sound written communication skills
  • Knowledge of security, accounting or commercial law practices
  • Ability to provide coaching to junior team members
