Relationship Manager, Lending Services

About The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a portfolio of higher risk Agri customers in the Waikato region, covering predominately a dairy portfolio
  • Use problem solving and analysis to identify and understand the issues facing a customer
  • Formulate customer centric strategies to achieve effective outcomes
  • Build and manage working relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Have open and honest conversations with customers and intermediaries to work through and resolve challenges
  • Work with an experienced and highly collaborative team
  • Work collaboratively with various teams within Commercial and Agri and Risk to help them to manage their customers
  • Provide excellent customer service to develop strong relationships and networks 

Role Location: Flexibility within Waikato region, Hamilton preferred

Role Type: Permanent

Work Hours: Full time, with flexible opportunities

Tool of Trade: Vehicle included

 

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Previous experience in banking or finance
  • Confident communication skills to manage customer relationships
  • Sound written skills
  • Proven experience in delivery, and providing customer solutions
  • Analytical proficiency in evaluating financial accounts, budget and cash-flow
  • The ability to coach and develop others
  • A “growth mind-set”, and a curiosity to learn
