Senior Accountant - Cost Analytics

About the role:
As Senior Accountant - Cost Analytics, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work across Financial Control and Decision Support teams to ensure the accuracy of outputs and integrity of Financial information through processes that comply with Group policies and procedures
  • Be responsible for providing financial insights and reporting services for costs (including projects) and be accountable for the provision of financial information, integrity of the accounting records, reporting, compliance and financial governance
  • Provide sound and insightful financial management advice and decision support to relevant Finance stakeholders on matters of significant financial impact related to the portfolio
  • Contribute to the operation of an efficient finance function with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Shape and sustain effective collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrate living the ANZ Values and our Code of Conduct

 
Location: Wellington or Auckland
Role Type: Permanent opportunity
Role hours: Standard with flexibility available

To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • Solid experience in Finance or related roles
  • CA or similar qualified
  • Curious, comfortable to challenge and customer focused
  • Proven ability to build credibility through excellence and strong financial acumen
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen and an understanding of business drivers
  • A positive attitude with a growth mindset
