Senior Product Analyst

About The Role

In this role, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Join the quickly growing Home Loan team. We’re on the lookout for a motivated, innovative individual to join us as a Senior Product Analyst.
  • This role will support the Product Manager and wider team in management of the Home Loan product portfolio including product marketing, process management, internal communications and frontline support.
  • You will also have the opportunity to prove analysis and insights to deliver optimisation across the product suite
  • Work on key project initiatives to make the offerings and processes easier for both our staff and customers
  • Support sales staff through appropriate resources and training
  • Drive the improvement of the internal processes for products
  • Provide product portfolio analysis & insight to drive portfolio strategies including owning reporting, analysis and insight and benchmarking 
  • Support product portfolio operations, pricing, fee and policy escalations, rate changes, customer complaints, process implementation, and frontline communications
  • Will ideally have strong experience in product management, and/or home loan knowledge

Role Location: Auckland or Wellington

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

 

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven product experience in particular, sound understanding of the Home Loan product and life cycle is advantageous

  • A demonstrable strong customer service ethic balanced with strong commercial acumen
  • Numerate individual with proven experience of analytical, financial, modelling skills that is great with understanding data and extracting insights
  • Good problem solving ability with a strong focus on best practice and improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously through to completion
  • Proven track record of delivering initiatives into the business or be able to demonstrate previous significant value-add to a large organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable and confident with Microsoft Office, primarily with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excel VBA, SAS and SQL user experience also advantageous, or a willingness to learn and become an expert
