Senior Technology Project Manager

About The Role
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Help to deliver our roadmap across a range of specialist technology areas.
  • Embed agile principles into planning, design and build that deliver business value quickly.
  • Implement continuous improvement, and a culture of empowerment.
  • Be an agile lead and relentless in breaking down barriers and removing roadblocks that impact your team’s ability to deliver.
  • Build high level initiative work plans that are adaptive rather than predictive.
  • Engage and develop stakeholder relationships to achieve the desired outcome, and persuade others when required. Empower teams to make decisions.
  • Utilise your proven experience in agile delivery and project management and understand that the real meaning behind this, is the difference you and the solutions you work on will make to our customers and community. The customer experience will be at the heart of everything you do.

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Depth of experience as a Technology Project Manager within areas utilising agile delivery methodologies.  Alternatively, experience as a scrum master within a large, regulated and complex corporate environment.
  • Payments and/or Switching banking experience is preferred.
  • You have the ability to effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have demonstrated collaborative leadership skills that encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • A proven track record of effectively managing project budget, schedule, quality, risks, reporting, and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical abilities with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • An enthusiastic, passionate and positive disposition. You like to bring others on the journey and you have the aptitude to remove roadblocks with vigour. 
  • Ability to retain a view of the big picture while paying attention to detail.
