About The Role
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Understand and meet the needs of current and potential customers through quality interactions and recommending financial solutions via the provision of ANZ's full range of home loan, insurance, investment products, and transactional services
  • Deepen customer relationships through the home buyers journey, exploring their financial needs, and offering the best possible solution
  • Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value
  • Act as a senior referral point for staff for more complex customer interviews and transactions (predominantly Home Lending)
  • Conduct advanced analysis of financial information (e.g. statements of financial position) relating to home lending
  • Assist the branch to meet and outperform its business objectives
  • Role model living the ANZ Values with our customers and colleagues

Role Location - Timaru
Role Type - Permanent, Full Time
ANZ’s Retail and Business Banking unit is made up of our extensive branch network, Contact Centres, Business Banking team, and Broker and Mobile mortgage manager units. Our frontline teams are supported by our Products, Digital Channels, Sales & Service Performance, Merchant Business Solutions, Risk and Customer Insights teams. We’re working really hard as a business unit towards our two goals – to get to number one in customer service and number one in customer growth.
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Prior experience in developing strong relationships and networks in a customer delivery role
  • Significant experience in identifying customer needs pertaining to financial services, preferably within the retail banking sector
  • Home Lending experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Proven results working with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment
  • A positive attitude with a growth mindset
