We now have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Senior Learning Design and Development Consultant within this specialist and passionate team. What you will do

Working closely with the Head of Learning, your job-share partner, and the wider Learning Community, this role will see you implement strategies for the innovative design and development of learning frameworks, assets, and channels to support not only bank-wide learning interventions such as induction and general workplace skill development, but also provide specialist learning services to ASB's support divisions. Reporting on learning outcomes and provide recommendations and insights based on findings is another key element to this role.

As a senior member of the team, you will bring your thought leadership in utilising an agile mindset and design thinking approaches to the full end to end delivery of a broad range of technical and non-technical learning solutions from initial consultation and needs analysis, design, delivery, to implementation and evaluation, ensuring all learning interventions have measurable business impacts. At times you will build these solutions yourself, and at other times you may find yourself working with and coaching teams of learning professionals and subject matter experts to achieve the desired business outcomes.

What you will bring

Essential to success is strong consultancy experience specifically within a learning context as well as experience utilising agile and design thinking, ADDIE and similar approaches. You will have a strong ability to design and implement learning pathways and to define the skills and experiences that those pathways are designed to develop. Your stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills must be second to none. You will be comfortable seamlessly moving between building eLearning and other digital solutions as well as the design of instructor-led or blended learning solutions and possess a comprehensive understanding of the theory and the application of e-learning software applications such as Articulate, Lectora. A healthy dose of Sharepoint, and/or web-design will be important as well.
