We are seeking your civil design engineering skills to assist us on a flood of land development and civil infrastructure work. You will work in our collaborative team environment and contribute towards delivering our multidisciplinary projects. This is a permanent, full time role with a company that offers a modern environment and a focus on flexible and inclusive work practices.

Why Aurecon? Simply put, we want you to be:

  • Given responsibility to show your capabilities – run projects, lead teams

As a well-rounded civil engineer with design experience in land development and other civil areas, you will ideally have 4 to 5 years of practical experience, and be keen to achieve CPEng status.  A strong team player with proven communication skills, you have the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. If you’ve been to site and observed your projects coming to life, this would be a benefit as site observation is also a useful skill to bring.

To be successful in this role you will be capable of some or all of the following:

  • Experienced in processing engineering calculations.
  • Enjoy the design of municipal infrastructure, utility diversions, and land infrastructure.
  • Have exposure to designing in 12D, Civil 3d or similar software - a willingness to learn new software may be required.
  • Be keen to work across a range of design projects i.e. transport highway designs, land development earthworks designs.
  • Capable of translating between client requirements and design teams.
  • Liaise with our digital and GIS teams to better integrate our civil designs (12D, civil 3d, etc) with other design packages (Revit, Leapfrog, Navisworks etc).  Be genuinely interested in extending our digital capabilities.
  • Show comfort and confidence when client-facing – both internal and external clients.
  • Show potential for Project Management and Line Management as a career development opportunity.

In return you will get the following from us:

  • A company which supports your growth and career goals and objectives
  • Complex, interesting and challenging projects
  • A fantastic team environment with a positive culture and diverse range of people
  • Ongoing technical and non-technical training
