Document Controller

The Opportunity:

Our PSH unit in Christchurch is currently undertaking major Infrastructure projects within the region. These include prestigious public transportation and motorway projects of national significance, & building projects such as: Christchurch Metro Sports Complex, North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery (NTIR), and other relevant South Island projects. We have an immediate vacancy for a Document Controller to actively contribute to the smooth administration of these major and often complex projects.

The Team:

As a Document Controller within PSH, you will insure that corporate planning and scheduling standards are implemented and that all project related activities comply, across all business organizations. This role will see you working closely with Commercial and Project Managers to assist them preparing and controlling all different levels of a project’s schedule, from the overall Project Master schedules initially developed in the proposal phase up to the detailed activity schedules at the discipline level.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly (both oral & written) with colleagues & clients.

· Competent skills in managing time, setting priorities, planning and organising.

· A good understanding of internal and external client needs.

· Demonstrate the ability to use their initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a junior level.

· Intermediate to Advanced user in Microsoft Office Professional.

· Knowledge & use of an IMS system(s) (i.e. ProjectWise, SharePoint, Aconex, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

. Hold a relevant degree acceptable to a recognised and relevant professional body.
