Aurecon's Advisory team in Auckland are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organised Project Manager to join us on a wide variety of projects. As the ideal candidate, you will have strong analytical skills, a strong interest in construction contract management and be a confident communicator.
You would be a recent graduate of one or more of Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture, and have a strong interest in the building and construction industry, and working in a consulting environment. A conjoint degree with business or law would be highly desirable. You will need to be self-motivated and enjoy working alongside clients, therefore advanced written and verbal communication skills are essential. This position will often require working remotely from site or project offices.
This growing team consists of diverse technical and commercial specialists who have a successful history in guiding organisations to improved performance, providing procurement strategy and advice, feasibility studies, business case development, strategic asset management, contract management services and project management to government and private clients. Examples of recent and current projects include the Christchurch Convention Centre, University of Canterbury Regional Science & Innovation Centre, Housing New Zealand, Puhoi to Warkworth, and City Rail Link.
