Project Coordinator

The role:

As a Project Coordinator within PSH, you will assume junior to mid-level management responsibilities assisting the project delivery team with a range of tasks; from feasibility stages to final hand over to the client. This role will also see you working closely with the PCM and Project Managers to assist them in managing the project to the cost and scheduling requirements.

The key objective of the role is to provide project coordination services to the project team including planning, cost control, earned value analysis, forecasting, report production and change management in accordance with all agency standards and contractual requirements.

Your skills and knowledge:

  • A degree in finance/accounting/engineering
  • At least 5 years engineering, cost control and planning/scheduling experience
  • An ability to solve complex problems
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Experience developing and executing the project management/coordination on large and complex projects
  • A thorough knowledge of diversified controls engineering systems, principles and practices
  • Advanced knowledge of macros and other modelling techniques
  • Familiarity with an ERP financial reporting/accounting environment
  • Knowledge and use of an Enterprise Risk Management System (Predict!, @Risk, Acumen Fuse, Primavera SRA, etc)
  • Experience with transit projects
  • A strong knowledge of Prism, particularly Prism Cost and Prism Engineering modules
  • An advanced user of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects
