Project Management Co-ordinator

Aurecon's Built Environment team in Christchurch are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and confident Project Co-ordinator to join us in delivering a number of projects currently underway in the city. Working with us will give you exposure to high value projects, within a supportive and collaborative global company.

As the ideal candidate, you will:

  • Be well organised, with a systematic approach to your day to day
  • Have good analytical skills, and be able to apply them to project finances
  • Have previous exposure to construction projects in an administrative or coordination capacity
  • Be a confident and effective communicator
  • Be capable of influencing those around you to deliver on time
  • Have strong excel and word skills
  • Preferably have some experience with document handling systems like SharePoint/ Aconex
  • Have a desire to progress over time within the field of project management

In this position, your core duties will be to:

  • Manage Project Action registers to ensure actions are captured and owners are held accountable to deliver
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to compile and produce reports
  • Create and analyse weekly financial reports, to then share with the Project Manager
  • Oversee Project email accounts – prioritise, respond and escalate as required
  • Arrange, issue the agenda for, and minute project meetings
  • Raise and respond to Requests for Information (RFI’s)
  • Prepare project progress reports
