In order to drive our continued passion for change and innovation within the Built Environment industry, we are currently seeking a new Buildings Practice Leader, reporting to the NZ Built Environment Director.  This role leads a true multidisciplinary practice of about 60 people, comprising of both a Building Structures and Building Services portfolio, and sits on the NZ Built Environment Leadership Team

The responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Leading the Buildings group in Wellington in the implementation of our exciting differentiation strategy
  • Representing the Wellington Group on the NZ Built Environment Leadership Team and contributing to the NZ-wide business
  • Working closely with our fantastic people to grow revenue through work winning activities
  • Overseeing operational excellence in the delivery of our services
  • Collaborate to ensure our Client & Work Winning Strategies are consistently implemented, strengthening the Client Experience
  • Being a Project Director and lead the winning and delivery of multi-discipline projects, with accountability for resourcing, timeliness, quality, risk management, scope management, and project financial performance.

We are looking for an inspiring individual who can demonstrate: 

  • Strong visible leadership experience with an ability and willingness to take the team on a transformational journey in strategy & culture
  • Effective relationship and interpersonal skills to drive a Client Service Excellence approach to clients and other stakeholders
  • Robust business and commercial acumen
  • The ability to adapt to work effectively across geographic and cultural boundaries to create and promote a collaborative culture
