About The Role

As a Data Engineer you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Develop (build) Business Intelligence assets & SAS data processes for multi-use
  • Provide data output to support Customer  Resolution programs and other ad-hoc data requests; achieved by coding, testing and implementing solutions
  • Embrace new technologies to develop new capabilities within the Analytics and Customer Engagement/reporting scope
  • Play a key role in implementing technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
  • Proactively collaborate with Information & Technology teams to increase connectivity between platforms (e.g. Teradata) and build automated workflows and data checks to constantly improve the smooth running, data integrity and timely availability of data

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:  

  • Extensive experience in programming and technically skilled in development using SAS and SAS Business Intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated ability, confidence and drive to quickly learn new technologies, software and programming languages
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, keep momentum and deal with conflicting priorities in an environment undergoing a programme of transformational change
  • Proven track record of challenging existing processes and procedures and providing constructive support on how to improve
