Reward Consultant - People Advisory Services - Wellington

The opportunity
 
We’re looking for a Consultant within the PAS Reward practice to provide support on engagements and projects for a variety of clients New Zealand wide.  Areas of focus will include reward and remuneration strategy, reward policy and processes, commercial and strategic implications of remuneration systems and processes, director fees, executive remuneration as well as cash and non-cash reward issues.  You will also have the opportunity to work on our NZ remuneration surveys.
 
Your key responsibilities

  • Work with the wider team to help clients design and implement people and remuneration plans which support the business and HR strategy
  • Develop financial analyses and models for incentive plans
  • Use market data to inform remuneration decisions
  • Provide support on remuneration strategy, remuneration frameworks and benchmarking
  • Broaden your interest in the reward market practice, both nationally and internationally

Skills and attributes for success

  • A flair for numbers and ability to analyse and interpret data
  • An interest in HR and/or reward and how it impacts our clients businesses
  • A curious nature to ask the right questions and seek out the right answer
  • The ability to work well in a team, supporting Senior Managers across various engagements

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or Finance
  • Experience of HR or remuneration with a particular interest in reward
  • Analytical skills, possibly with knowledge of financial modelling
  • Experience of people and remuneration projects would be beneficial
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to remain focused in a fast paced environment
