The Opportunity
 
Management, Audit Committees and Boards rely on internal audit (IA) to provide assurance over and insights into how organisations manage strategic, external and controllable risks. This occurs in an environment of change - in technology, the environment, society, and human behaviour. By joining EY you will be exposed to a wide range of engagements where you will challenge the status quo, provide strategic insight into how organisations manage their most valuable assets, and contribute to building a better working world.
 
Make a difference. We are after risk professionals who want to

  • Challenge the way risk consulting projects are delivered
  • Incorporate robotics, AI and data analytics into the delivery of risk based projects
  • Understand how behaviours influence processes
  • Assist organisations to determine the limits of risk taking in pursuit of their strategy or opportunities
  • Utilise external sources of data to prove or disprove risk hypotheses

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Technically proficient across risk management, internal audit and controls assurance
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards such as: ISO 31000 Risk Management – Principles and Guidelines; Professional standards of the IIA
  • A desire to challenge the status quo
  • Someone with a curious mind-set that is comfortable navigating through periods of ambiguity and change
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to effectively resource, lead and close out engagements within time and budget
