Stores Person - Twilight Shift

We have a new opportunity for a Stores Person to join our team on Twilight Shift (2:30pm – 10:30pm), based at our Wiri manufacturing site.

The entry level hourly rate of this role is $27.16 as well as a shift allowance of $28.85 per week.

Only permanent NZ residents can be considered for this role.

As a Stores Person, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers
  • Fork Hoist operations
  • Oder picking and assembly
  • Stock replenishment duties
  • Stock taking procedures
  • Palletising and order wrapping duties
  • Adhering to health & safety, food safety and company policies and practices at all times

Requirements for this role include:

  • A current Fork-Hoist Safe Driving Certificate is essential
  • Experience within a warehousing environment, ideally at least 2 years of work directly involved with operating a Fork Hoist
  • Working knowledge of and experience with computer Warehouse Management Systems preferred. If you have not had exposure to this, the willingness and aptitude to learn
  • Knowledge and first-hand experience of process controls, quality assurance and Health and Safety within an FMCG food environment
  • A great work ethic, high attention to detail, great numeracy and literacy skills, and the ability to meet demanding deadlines in a safety-first manner
