About The Role

As a Senior Analyst Programmer you will join an innovative, diverse, and collaborative team that are focused and committed to enhancing the functionality of banking systems to meet business needs.  In this role you will:

  • Build and contribute to the design of ANZ’s Banker Workbench as part of a scrum team.
  • Enable the Bank to maintain, develop and enhance functionality of web applications to meet business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to other development staff.
  • Assist the Delivery teams with continually improving delivery processes to enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Assist in supporting a positive and supportive culture in Digital Banking.

Role Location: Wellington
Role Type: Permanent

Hours: Business hours with plenty of flexibility available

 
About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in full stack .Net development.
  • Strong commercial experience developing solutions with ASP.NET and C#, including web api and ideally .Net Core
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles including object-oriented programming, separation of concerns, and dependency injection
  • Proficient at writing, reviewing, and maintaining unit tests
  • Familiar with microservice architectures and api design
  • Strong JavaScript skills, and a good level of commercial experience with React/Redux, AngularJS, or other SPA framework.
  • Experience with and/or exposure to NodeJS/NPM/Webpack.
  • Experience with unit testing javascript applications.
  • Experience with continuous integration and build pipelines
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to communicate constructively with peers and stakeholders within the business
  • Excellent communication skills

Your Technology profile will look something like this:

  • C#, web api, .net core
  • Asp.Net MVC
  • MS SQL or Oracle
  • MSTest, NUnit, or similar
  • React/redux or other SPA framework (angular/vue)
  • Nice to haves – .net core on docker/linux, Azure or other cloud technologies, NServiceBus or other messaging technologies
