In the heart of Federal Street, to further tantalise and shape a world class dining experience right here in Auckland, SKYCITY is adding to our award winning dining precinct with a new authentic contemporary Chinese restaurant.

Huami features strikingly stunning architecture inspired from old Shanghai and the Yuan Garden.  Huge bi-folding glass doors open the bar directly onto Federal Street and our grand front doors offer our guests a luxurious arrival. 

Featuring a main dining room and three private rooms, we offer a lunch and dinner service that's sharp and truly above the rest.  The cuisine is authentic yet contemporary, prepared using traditional techniques, methods and ingredients in our open kitchen.  There is live seafood, exquisite hand crafted dim sum and expertly prepared BBQ as well as dishes from the wok. We also feature the only wood fired duck oven in New Zealand!

To be successful you'll be a highly skilled, dynamic and modern Executive Chef who specialises in Chinese cuisine.  You'll have the opportunity to lead an exceptional team of culinary professionals, ensuring excellent service, knowledge and passion about Chinese cuisine.

You'll come from a rich background in Chinese cuisine that is traditional yet modern, having worked in high end restaurants. You'll have unparalleled knowledge and the pedigree to create dishes that incorporates the freshest ingredients and the tastiest of flavours.  Not only will you be fluent in English, ideally you'll also have the ability to speak either Cantonese or Mandarin.
