ABOUT THE ROLE

Working in the heart of Transdev, the Crew Co-ordinator plays an essential part of the Transdev Operations Centre (TOC) team.

Within TOC, we believe in working together as one team, respecting and supporting each other – ensuring we bring out the best in one another.

We are now looking for a Crew Coordinator to take ownership of this great opportunity and coordinate all of the “on the day” Train Crew rosters. You will ensure all the shifts are covered and changed to the daily roster plan are made in accordance with the agreed Transdev policies and procedures.

When incidents and disruptions occur, you will us the available crew resources to support the delivery of the agreed contingency plans to restore train services to the normal timetable by minimising delays and cancelations.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in scheduling or logistics role (preferred)
  • Provides information and instructions for others to do their jobs
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to negotiate effective outcomes
  • Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office Systems.
  • Ability to negotiate and persuade staff to resolve difficult situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to provide critical information in a concise and clear manner.
  • Calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
