About the Role

You will be a key member of a small and friendly team dealing with the critical function of producing schedules and rosters to effectively utilise staff and Rolling Stock (Trains).

About You

 

Ideally, you will have experience in the passenger rail (or transportation) industry; an understanding of timetabling, scheduling and rosters/shift work management, and knowledge of the Auckland Suburban Rail Network:

•        Excellent organisation, planning, problem solving, analytical, evaluative and decision making skills.

•        Accuracy and attention to detail.

•        Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.

•        An understanding of strategic planning principles and applications.

•        A positive attitude and enthusiasm to ensure continuous improvement in the design and development of train services and staff scheduling.
