About the role

Due to parental leave, this is a fixed term role for 10-12 months within our busy Customer Communications team.  We strive to keep our customers well informed and engaged around what’s happening in our business and community, and how that may impact their energy supply. A key outcome for this role is to develop and implement communication strategies to achieve this.

In this busy and varied role, you’ll be challenged to think outside the box to create and deliver engaging communications that bring our brand and operational business to life. You’ll provide communications support across the Networks teams, develop collateral, communication plans and messaging to drive customer engagement, and contribute to the ongoing development of a range of customer communications channels and content.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • A number of years’ experience in an external communications-focused role within a medium to large organisation
  • Issues/crisis management experience
  • A collaborative style with an eye for detail who is adept at managing multiple projects from conception through to delivery
  • Great people skills together with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Fantastic writing skills
