About the role

We have a 12-month fixed term role, based at our Papakura Bottle Swap Plant. Working closely with the OnGas HSE Manager and wider team, you will provide HSE services for Vector’s OnGas Business unit.  The role will provide process and guidance to continuously improve the HSE performance of the operations teams across NZ.

Key to the role will be to process reviews and re-write procedures that are effective and fit for purpose. You will be responsible to collate and assemble investigation reports, check incident details and keep systems up to date. You will also be involved in getting corrective actions completed and closed out.

 

Who we are looking for

It’s important to Vector to get keep our HSE culture moving, so ideally you will have proven advisory experience in a similar industry or environment.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong ability and proven success engaging and influencing others, you’ll be skilled at juggling and prioritising multiple projects and your analytical skills will be second to none.  This will be backed by strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.  High attention to detail and meticulous planning skills are just part and parcel of who you are.   

You may have HSE qualifications, or will be working towards attaining these; along with:

  • Strong Administration skills
  • Experience with processes and procedures
  • A working knowledge of Sharepoint
  • A real desire to do the right thing to keep people safe
