As an Automation DevOps Engineer you’ll be working in an Agile environment to improve operational efficiency through the use of effective automation and data insights, allowing more time to be spent across the business focusing on our key strategic people and technology goals.

You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering on the automation roadmap, contributing to the overall governance and framework, creating a range of robots/RPA/orchestration/cognitive (AI/ML) solutions and developing algorithms to improve analytics and predictive capabilities.

What Will I be Doing?

  • Delivering accurate, cost effective designs aligned to architectural and operational requirements, considering all E2E impacts.
  • Owning capacity and lifecycle management for relevant platforms.
  • Developing domain roadmaps, network plans and capital budgets.
  • Delivering implementations on time and in budget, ensuring network integrity is maintained.
  • Ensuring all changes of passed the full set of acceptance tests and quality standards before live implementation.
  • Resolving incidents within operational SLA targets.
  • Developing and implementing processes, procedures and automation to improve operational performance.
  • Ensuring network integrity is maintained through an effective maintenance program.

 
What Will I Bring?

  • Expertise in Automation with a demonstrated ability to lead technical deliverables & communicate clearly to both technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge & skills for manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected data sets.
  • A background in software engineering with proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with Machine Learning or Data Science technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with Relational, Unstructured, and Big Data.
  • Ability to proactively identify product / solution opportunities through creative data analysis and modelling.
