This exciting opportunity will see you responsible for maintaining a highly available, secure environment for our managed security clients, services and core infrastructure. You will be technically confident and competent in Vodafone Securities products and services. You will be called upon to provide technical leadership and guidance within the operations team. You will lead (help with) the resolution of complex faults.

 
What will I be doing?

  • Take a lead role in incident and change management activities for both internal and external customers.
  • Design and implement complex changes in a across a range of products in accordance with relevant change procedures, ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Maintaining operational integrity within the technical team by ensuring the following processes are actively and consistently followed and where appropriate maintained: Change control, Operational documentation and Operational procedures
  • Demonstrate leadership in the support process and ownership of service delivery
  • Perform effective knowledge sharing and support of team members.

 
What will I bring?

  • Some previous exposure and experience with Check Point Firewall, Fortinet, Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Previous experience operating and maintaining load balancers, proxies and other networking infrastructure in a security environment
  • Capable of working under pressure, excellent time management skills & flexibility to work outside business hours.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
