The UX CoE Lead will be tasked with leading a team responsible for the continuing evolution and improvement of UX across all of Vodafone NZ's digital properties, working across Digital and the wider business to improve efficiency, quality and consistency in UX as well as owning the UX and design strategy and roadmap.

As UX CoE Lead you will develop the UX and digital design across the business in both web and app, prototyping and concepting capability to meet future business needs, while delivering on innovative, best in class customer experience and achieving commercial outcomes.

What Will I be Doing?

  • Driving the UX design strategy and roadmap for Vodafone NZ, acting as the champion for UX across the business.
  • Ensuring a high quality of UX output from the team and providing the appropriate governance around elements such as testing.
  • Educating stakeholders across the business to better understand the value of UX and its impact.
  • Lead, coach and develop talent to ensure team capability meets future needs of the business.
  • Building a culture of innovation and collaboration, with a true customer-centric focus.

What Will I Bring?

  • Significant track record working across UX & Design at both technical and strategic levels.
  • Proactive and collaborative working style with high ability to adapt and manage change in complex and at times ambiguous agile environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience with the ability to foster a culture of high performance and engagement.
  • A passion for intuitive and creative UX with a focus on improving customer experience.
