This exciting opportunity will see you brief, plan, implement category management activity, channel POS and VD channel executions by liaising and managing in channel executions. Act as a channel support resolving, supporting, developing better executions and processes. To help develop channel environments that meet current and future state Vodafone key customer experience objectives and align from a commercial and brand objectives POV. To manage the communications and brand alignment of key channel partners activity and Vodafone’s strategic and tactical objectives.

 
What will I be doing?

  • Planning, development and leadership. Develops and manages the program of activity and category management strategy with device team and product squads to leverage the full set of Vodafone products and services. Identifies, anticipates and acts upon market changes, technological and design innovations along with broader social and environmental trends. Shows leadership in VM and customer experience with in the retail/channel environment
  • Channel execution. Ensure POS & VD concepts can be executed with excellence by the Vodafone retail and field force merchandising team. Including develop detailed merchandising/planograms and installation briefs. In conjunction with the channel comms specialists, relevant brand and squad team members ensure adherence to brand and campaign creative and guidelines. Manage and report on the execution of collateral within channels and work with merchandising company and retail ops to ensure executional excellence. Work with product squads and retail ops team to ensure customer experience is at the heart of all executions
  • Channel collateral development – writing, delivering customer insight led channel briefs that inspire agency partners to deliver excellence and service in channel environments. Work closely with retail Comms specialists/brand/ product squads and within GTM project teams, as well as manage small bespoke channel comms projects.
  • Relationship management - work with and enable others e.g. advertising and design agencies, printers, to achieve channel executions based on overall business and brand requirements and work with them to develop creative solutions to complicated problems. Work to drive process, communications and customer experience improvements
  • New store/fixture development - work with Channel and Marcomms Manager, property team and retail ops teams to develop and execute POS and VD component of new store and refits. Work with wider channel ops team on retail specific stand and merchandising requirements to ensure the best customer experience for each specific channel execution.

What will I bring?

  • Knowledge of and experience in retail industry, with a minimum 5 years¡¦ experience VM, specific experience with category management strategy, innovation and leadership within Visual Merchandiser environment.
  • Visual Merchandiser and communications execution experience
  • Ability to multi task and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders, knowledge or understanding of working with in an Agile business environment
  • Proven budget management
  • Telco experience would be highly regarded.
