Westpac Bank has played a significant role in the development of New Zealand's economic and social history that dates from 1861.

 

• Wellington based role preferred but can be negotiated

• Part time hours - negotiable

 

How will I help?

This once in a blue moon position will see you be solely in charge of managing Westpac bank's historic archive collections. You will understand a full range of archival duties including, but not limited to, appraisal and cataloguing using archive management software, managing research enquires, maintaining the Archive Vault in Wellington and providing management services of the Westpac Art collection. The archives are in both digital and paper format and include museum objects that can be used by both our internal employees and external customers.

  • High level of digital communication skills

  • Post-graduate qualification in archives (desirable)
  • Archival training and experience (essential)
