Product Manager - fixed-term opportunity

How will you help? 

 

A rewarding 12-month maternity cover opportunity for a Product Manager (Chapter Member) in our Billing Revolution squad has become available and is a key role in identifying issues in the way we invoice our business customers.  

In this role you’ll have input into how we discover and resolve past billing errors and improve our model to create a billing solution that not only improves the process for our business customers, but also de-risks the whole scenario as much as possible. 

This squad looks at billing as a ‘product solution’ and to be successful in this role you’ll be ‘deep-diving’ into processes utilising your background in product management, legal, risk and/or governance. You’ll need the ability to un-pick things and ask the question ‘why is this happening?’ seeking out the process weaknesses and control gaps. 

What you’ll need to succeed: 

  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, clear, accessible and proactive communicator (both written and verbal)
  • Problem solving skills
  • The skills to takes a proactive approach to issues and implement decisions and actions in a timely manner
  • Process design, capture and analysis
  • Ability to understand processes and control impacts
  • Root causes analysis of issues and configuring solutions to prevent re-occurrence
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enquiring mind and willingness to understand, challenge and validate information presented
  • Adherence to internal policy and process
  • Experience in legal, governance & risk management (advantageous)
  • Previous experience working on remediation projects (advantageous)
