Senior Manager - Governance, Risk & Control, Technology

How will you help?

 

This Senior Manager – Governance, Risk & Control role is primarily responsible for Risk Governance Reporting and Regulatory processes in the Technology area of the business. You’ll lead and manage the end to end delivery of monthly Technology Risk reports, bi-monthly Risk Committees (RISKCO) and quarterly Executive Risk Committees and reporting requirements for the Board Risk & Compliance Committee (BRCC).

 

You’ll provide executive level (high quality and timely) risk governance reporting, thematic papers and oversight of Technology risk measures incorporating insightful data analysis into risk governance forums. You’ll also assist the Technology Risk team with key risk initiatives and special projects as required.

 

With the above in mind, you’ll need to have resilience and the depth of experience to work at a senior level in the bank, as well as the drive to transform this area of the business where necessary.

 
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:  

  • Strong experience in operations and business writing (essential), balanced with University Level qualifications held in Business, Management or Law (preferred)
  • Ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholders
  • Ability to influence all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work independently with minimum oversight
  • Experience managing competing demands
  • Collaboration and communication
  • Sound Innovation, Transformation and Simplification skills
