Supply Chain Performance Advisor

  • Key senior strategic advisory role
  • Apply your skills to deliver tangible results
  • Work flexibly on Wellington’s waterfront

We believe that if we want to be a world class Kiwi Company, we shouldn’t just employ people, divide them into functional departments and tell them what to do. Instead we give them a reason for belonging, the possibility of a bigger purpose, and a hunger for the extraordinary.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager your role will be to develop and implement initiatives that optimise supply chain performance, across product procurement, refinery operation, coastal distribution and customer supply.

You will provide analytical and process advisory services to the Supply Chain Manager and Integrated Supply Chain Leads, strengthening chain performance and operation and supporting refinery supply optimisation tasks.

Highly analytical and driven with strong commercial acumen and excellent relationship management skills you know how to look beyond the obvious to fully understand and communicate the key drivers of current Supply Chain business performance including the preparation of indicator and performance forecasts.

With a demonstrated track record of success in similar environments you will have successfully applied your strategic thinking capabilities and commercial discipline to Integrated Supply Chain initiatives capturing new business insights to inform commercial actions and strategies that have delivered tangible results.

Experience in manufacturing, supply chain/ logistics optimisation and complex problem solving will enable your success. A relevant tertiary qualification and strong project management skills. Linear programming or process analytical capabilities would be a benefit.

And of course, you’ll be passionate about what matters to Z and helping us deliver on our aspirations.

Z is committed to Diversity and Inclusion, promote flexible working, have the Rainbow Tick and the YWCA Equal Pay Compact. This is a fabulous company to be part of, where the people work hard, learn lots and have fun. Sound like you? Then please apply!
