Heartland Bank


Heartland Bank’s head office is in Newmarket, Auckland and is split across two sites – Teed Street amongst the cafes and designer shops and above the 277 Mall on Broadway.

We have a retail branch or an office in Whangarei, Takapuna, Newmarket, Hamilton, Tauranga, Hastings, Feilding, Masterton, Wellington, Nelson, Ashburton, Christchurch, Oamaru, Dunedin and Invercargill.

Business Division

Lend primarily to small and medium-sized businesses directly and via intermediaries. Roles include Sales Consultants, Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, and Business Assistants (administrative). Business roles are located throughout the country.

Consumer Division

Lend to individuals for vehicle finance and personal loans, and provide insurance options. Channels are direct and via vehicle dealerships. Roles include Sales Consultants, Relationship Managers, and Support Consultants. Sales and Support Consultant roles are Auckland based and Relationship Manager roles are located throughout the country.

Rural Division

Lend to the agri-business sector and finance livestock, plant and machinery, and working capital. Roles include Relationship Managers, Analysts, and Assistants. Roles are primarily in Christchurch with Relationship Managers in rural hubs throughout the country.

Retail Division

Provide personal transaction services, savings and mortgage products – including home equity release. Roles include Customer Service Consultants, Sales & Service Consultants, Business Development Managers, and Sales Managers. Roles are located throughout the country.


Responsible for deposits and funding. Roles include Sales & Service Consultants and Sales Managers. Roles are Auckland based.


The Risk team manages our exposure. Roles include Service Consultants, Credit Officers – Collections, Recovery and Disposal, Credit Managers, Risk & Compliance Analysts and Managers, and Internal Auditors. Roles are Auckland based.

Business Support

Manage our Operations functions and Insurance. Roles include Settlement Consultants, Banking Analysts, Insurance Consultants and Compliance Verifiers. Roles are based in Auckland and Christchurch.


Manage our accounts, reporting, tax and treasury. Roles include Reconciliations Analysts, Finance Assistant, Financial Accountant, Finance Manager, Planning & Performance Analysts and Managers, and Treasury Analysts and Managers. All roles are Auckland based.

IT & Projects

Manage our network and infrastructure. Roles include Systems Engineers, Security Analyst, and Business Intelligence Developers and Manager. All roles are Auckland based.

Legal, Strategy & Business Advisory

Manage our contracts, new markets, new products and M&A activity. Roles include Strategy Advisors, Data Analysts and Legal Counsels. All roles are Auckland based.

Brand & Strategic Marketing

Manage our brand and marketing initiatives. Roles include Marketing Executives and Marketing Managers. All roles are Auckland based.

Human Resources

Manage our people initiatives, recruitment, rewards and benefits. Roles include Payroll & HR Analyst, HR Advisor and Talent Manager. All roles are Auckland based.
