Rewards and benefits

KPMG New Zealand

Rewards and benefits at KPMG are broken into two distinct categories, monetary and non-monetary but together they make up an individual’s total reward package. Our range of practical benefits and incentives include: payment of professional membership fees, financial and leave assistance for postgraduate studies; advanced in-house learning and development opportunities; refer a friend employment assistance program; opportunities for overseas assignments and secondments.

Remuneration Packaging

An individual’s total remuneration package is split into two components: Fixed remuneration which is an individual’s annual salary and variable remuneration which relates to the Short-term Incentive Plan (STIP) which all employees in the firm are eligible to participate in on an annual basis. An individual’s STIP payment is dependent on their grade, KPMG financial performance, division financial performance and individual performance.

Additional Annual Leave

You can purchase up to an additional 1 weeks leave on an annual basis.

Personal Leave

Combined sick leave and carer’s leave entitlements provide up to 10 day’s paid personal leave each year to recover from illness or injury, or to care for an immediate family or household member.

Flexible Work Options

KPMG recognises the need to balance personal and family commitments with your work, by giving you more control over how, when and where your work gets done. Options include variation of hours, part-time work, working from home and gradual re-entry/exit arrangements.

Employee Assistance Program
