New business: Contact Centre & Underwriting

New Business is our first port-of-call for customers. Within our new business team we have our contact centre, underwriting and support teams, who help our advisers and customers with everything they need. Our world-class contact centre team have won the CRM Contact Centre Award for 8 years in a row, so we can be sure our customers are in the best of hands.

Distribution

Distribution are a high-energy, fast-paced team that provide specialised support to our advisers, corporate and banking partners, who sell our products. They create amazing relationships and make sure our partners have everything they need to wow their customers.

Finance

The financial services team don't just don't just calculate numbers in spread sheets; they consider all the benefits, costs, risks and opportunities of insurance. Their work makes sure Sovereign has a strong, stable future and can support all our customers in their important life moments. Within our finance team we have Actuaries, investment and finance professionals.

Risk & Legal

Our risk and legal team provide services that keep our people and customers safe. They support our people to manage credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks and provide legal advice to make sure Sovereign can safely achieve its vision and financial commitments.

Customer Management & Product

Our customers are looked after by our Customer Management and Product team. They are passionate about our customers and look after their changing needs, processing all varieties of policy changes and updates. The team creates and manage Sovereigns leading range of products to help New Zealanders from all walks of life. Our claims teams are truly world-class and give our customers the best possible care in their moments of truth.

Marketing & Innovation

Sovereign's Marketing team are out-of-the-box thinkers, who manage Sovereign's strong, unique brand and drive an innovation focus in our business. The team includes brand, innovation, and marketing professionals who create integrated campaign activity, discover insights through analytics and manage Sovereign's marketing channels, including digital and media.

Business Technology

The Business Technology team are our IT guru's. They design and deliver new technology initiatives that support our systems, which mean we can deliver an excellent customer experience.

Strategy & Planning

Our Strategy and Planning team make "Be the Difference" become a reality. They help align all our projects across the business. They help each team make their processes simple, effective and manageable, now and in the future.

People and Community support people, inside and outside of Sovereign to be the best they can be.
