Flexible leave

Taking time out to recharge your batteries is a key part of any lifestyle, so we have a flexible approach to leave. In addition to the standard four weeks annual leave, we offer additional periods of unpaid leave to help achieve balance in life, for example spending more time with family, planning an overseas trip, or taking some extra time out for rest and relaxation.

Everyone's work-life balance needs are different and therefore, where possible, we provide a range of flexible work options.

Long service leave

We love that our people want to stay with us! To say thanks, we offer long service leave to our people who have been with us 15, 20, 30 and 40 years.

Parental leave

For the special time when a little one arrives we offer great parental leave packages, beyond the basic requirements. We also gift our little Sovereign people Pumpkin Patch vouchers and a subscription to the Little Treasures Magazine.

Sick and domestic leave

To help our people and their families stay well, or get better when they are sick, we offer generous sick and domestic leave packages.

Events

There's a great friendly, family vibe at Sovereign and we love to celebrate our successes. We do this regularly with team celebrations and company-wide gatherings, including family-focused Christmas events.

Sports

Sovereign is a company that likes to work and play. Our sports committees sponsor or co-ordinate a wide range of activities, such as Round the Bays, touch rugby, tennis, hockey, netball, soccer and basketball.
