Tell us about your role at The Warehouse
“I am responsible for providing all property solutions for The Warehouse. This includes buying, developing and leasing new sites. I also have overall responsibility for the property management function which manages the rent, lease agreements and maintenance function of our stores, the Distribution Centres and Store Support Office.”
What is your favourite part of your role?
“Seeing a new store open. The ownership of the whole store development and team members to see their new store come to fruition is very rewarding.”
What advice do you have for someone who wants to be a GM of Property?
“You should be prepared to keep up to date with retail environments and the property market. Retail is an ever-changing environment to work in. It keeps you fresh and allows you to keep finding fresh ideas.” Tell us about your career in retail “I have worked for over 20 years in the property function for The Warehouse. There are so many opportunities to be had within The Warehouse Group. ”
